Backgrounds: Post-operative complications in pediatric surgery are important issues, especially that after major abdominal for preterm infants: sometimes lead to mortality/morbidity even though the surgical procedures were successful. We here attempted demonstrate and record post-operative infants surgery. This is a secondary analysis of our cohort (n = 594) previously reported regarding postoperative (not confined infants). Methods: Of 594 patients, 25 (born Results: The mean weight was 2.43 ± 0.75 kg. 25, nine suffered complications: respiratory failure 4), pulmonary sepsis 2), followings observed one patient: intra-operative cardiac arrest, wound sepsis, septicemia, multi-organ sepsis. There no in-hospital mortality. Conclusion: In undergoing surgery, most common complication respiratory; data roughly same as previous studies, which made us reconfirm importance vigilance on this population.
